Crispy Kebabs & Burgers is a casual Fenton Street restaurant with a menu much wider than its name initially suggests. The Rotorua venue serves diners on site and supports both pickup and delivery, with hours extending through the evening. It works for a quick wrap, but the range of platters, plated mains and pasta also gives groups enough substance to make a fuller meal of the visit.

Kebabs remain a clear centre of gravity. Chicken, lamb and vegetable fillings can be folded into wraps or built into larger combinations over chips, rice or salad, with sauces adding the final layer. The platter format is useful for diners who want the grilled meat and fresh accompaniments without the wrap, while different sizes allow the same idea to suit either a lighter lunch or a generous dinner.

Burgers and hot mains take the menu in a more exuberant direction. An American double burger and the Sloppy Moe sit alongside chicken parmigiana, chicken schnitzel and quesadillas, while nachos and popcorn chicken lend themselves to sharing. This part of the menu has the feel of late night comfort food, but it is substantial enough to serve as a seated meal rather than just a snack.

Pasta is the unexpected extra, with creamy chicken and mushroom fettuccine joined by fettuccine bolognese. Sides can round out a mixed order, and banoffee pie offers a proper dessert finish after the savoury choices. Together, those additions turn the restaurant into a broad casual dining option where one table can move between kebabs, burgers, pasta and plated chicken without having to compromise on a single format.
