Noodles and Dumplings is a Coleman Place Chinese restaurant with distinct lunch and dinner sittings every day. Reservations and online ordering sit alongside dine-in service, making the venue useful for a quick bowl as well as a longer shared meal. Its name identifies the two strongest menu themes, but the kitchen reaches much further into rice dishes, roast meats, seafood, vegetables and banquet sets. A dedicated made-without-gluten menu is unusually extensive, allowing diners with that requirement to choose dumplings, noodles and shared mains rather than relying on a single adapted dish.

Dumplings can be steamed for a softer bite or fried for a crisp base. Fillings include pork with leek, vegetable or prawn, chicken with leek, beef with onion, and a vegetarian combination, so an order can mix familiar and more savoury variations. The gluten-free selection includes pork-and-chive and chicken-and-chive versions prepared as their own menu items. Around them, spring onion pancakes, spring rolls, salt-and-pepper squid and fried prawns provide contrasting starters, making dumplings the centre of a broader first course rather than the only reason to visit.

The noodle menu moves between broths and the wok. Beef casserole, Sichuan, seafood, wonton and hot-and-sour soups offer different levels of richness and heat, while fried noodles can be ordered with chicken, beef, barbecue pork, prawns or vegetables. Singapore vermicelli and dry-fried rice noodles add different textures and seasoning. Rice dishes mirror that range through fried rice and sauced combinations such as Sichuan pork, sweet-and-sour pork, cashew chicken, braised tofu and eggplant with potato, giving diners several complete one-bowl meals.

For a shared dinner, the menu expands into crispy pork, roast duck, spiced lamb, fish, prawns, tofu and vegetables. Fried lamb kebabs and Sichuan pork bring stronger aromatics, while braised fish with sour pickles offers a sharper, brothier contrast. Vegetable dishes include garlicky bok choy, sizzling tofu and crispy eggplant in sweet-and-sour sauce. Banquet sets combine starters, dumplings, rice, noodles and several mains for six, eight or ten people, while the separate gluten-free list lets mixed groups build a similarly varied table with fewer compromises.
