The Coffee Club Omahu Road is a licensed Hastings cafe and restaurant positioned beside Hawke's Bay Hospital. Its table-service format makes it suitable for more than a rushed coffee stop, with both indoor and outdoor seating available for breakfast, lunch or an early evening meal. The broad operating style is useful in this part of Frimley: visitors can settle in for a cooked plate, meet over drinks or collect food when time is tighter.

All-day breakfast is a central part of the branch's appeal. The Coffee Club Big Breakfast brings together a generous cooked selection, while eggs Benedict with bacon offers a more focused classic. Those choices sit alongside lighter morning possibilities rather than forcing everyone at the table into the same kind of meal. Children have their own breakfast option too, including pancakes served with banana and ice cream, which gives family groups a clear alternative to the adult plates.

Later meals broaden the kitchen well beyond cafe cabinet food. Fish and chips and a seafood basket cover familiar coastal comfort food, whereas crispy chicken tacos bring crunch and a livelier flavour profile. Burgers and sandwiches suit straightforward lunches, and the salad section provides fresher choices when a heavy plate is less appealing. That range allows the branch to accommodate mixed appetites without losing the recognisable, easygoing character of a neighbourhood cafe.

Drinks are structured to carry the venue across several parts of the day. Espresso coffee is joined by chocolate and chai, loose-leaf tea, smoothies, frappes and thick shakes, with juices, iced tea and house soda for colder refreshment. The result is a menu that can support a morning coffee, a full meal or an afternoon catch-up equally well. Delivery and takeaway add convenience, but the seating and licensed restaurant service give diners good reasons to remain at the Omahu Road premises.
