Fairweathers is a central Blenheim restaurant, bar and function venue with a strong local-pub character. The building was once an engineering workshop, and its refit created several spaces rather than one uniform room. A decked garden bar, sliding doors, a louvred roof, patio heaters and fires allow the venue to shift between indoor and outdoor use as Marlborough weather changes.

Food runs across more than one part of the day. Breakfast, an all-day menu, finger food, fuller restaurant dishes and a children's menu make the venue adaptable, while the daytime cabinet adds quiches, savoury stacks, salads, cakes, muffins and scones for a shorter coffee stop. That range means the same address can work for breakfast, a bar meal, dinner or a quick baked item without forcing every visit into the same format.

The classic buttermilk chicken shows the kitchen's comfort-food side: crisp chicken is paired with duck-fat potatoes, house slaw and butter chicken sauce. A recurring Sunday sirloin offering takes a similarly direct pub approach, matching steak with salad, fries and house gravy. Both dishes favour generous, recognisable combinations while still adding a house detail through the sauce or accompaniments.

Fairweathers also leans into the social side of a restaurant and bar. Current programming includes quiz nights, karaoke, live entertainment and televised sport, while beer and cocktails sit alongside the food. Bookings are available, larger groups are asked to call, and dedicated function areas can be combined with the venue's catering service for celebrations and organised events.
