Ozeki Cafe & Bar is a roomy Japanese BYO restaurant near the southern end of Tory Street. Lunch and dinner service, bookable tables and a relaxed atmosphere let it handle very different groups, from two people sharing a few dishes to a family or work crew ordering across the menu. The scale is matched by the range of food: raw, grilled, fried and simmered preparations all sit comfortably together, so a meal need not revolve around sushi alone.

The broadest way through the menu begins with familiar Japanese formats. Sushi and noodles can be joined by gyoza, donburi and vegetable dishes, while chicken, beef, fish and lamb give diners plenty of ways to move beyond a single protein. Bento boxes pull several flavours into one order. This breadth is particularly useful for a group because one table can combine lighter rice bowls and dumplings with more substantial meat or seafood plates without leaving the restaurant's core identity.

Dinner sets provide a more structured experience. Angus beef, grilled eel, karaage, katsu and lamb sit beside sashimi, fish and two kinds of tempura, while tofu or teriyaki vegetables make the set format available without meat. Miso soup, rice and salad turn the main choice into a complete meal rather than a standalone dish. The variety also encourages repeat visits: a crisp fried set, a raw-fish plate and a gently cooked eel order each create a distinctly different dinner.

BYO wine is part of Ozeki's appeal, but the restaurant is fully licensed as well. Sake supplies the most natural Japanese match, with beer, wine and soft drinks covering the rest of the table. Reservations help groups organise ahead, while Ozeki's own pickup and delivery service gives the extensive menu a life beyond the dining room. The combination makes the venue unusually adaptable: a casual bowl, a set dinner and a group celebration can all use the same Tory Street kitchen.
