The restaurant is designed for social dining rather than ceremony, with a bright chef's table, comfortable booths, low tables and a covered courtyard that keeps the alfresco option useful in changeable Auckland weather. It suits everything from a shopping-break lunch to a family dinner or group celebration.

Pizza gives the menu an accessible centre of gravity. A simple Margherita shares the list with Funghi Bianco, where mushrooms and thyme meet white sauce, mozzarella and truffle aioli, while pepperoni, prawn and chorizo, and pesto chicken offer bolder directions. The range makes it easy to put several contrasting pies in the middle of the table and lean into the restaurant's emphasis on sharing and conversation.
