Pure Bar & Grill treats food as a full-day part of the venue rather than an afterthought to the bar. The Cameron Street restaurant starts with breakfast and coffee, shifts into an express lunch and salad bar, then opens its grill and share-plate sections for the evening. A mezzanine used for functions gives the space another purpose, but the regular menu remains suited to families and casual groups, with substantial mains, children's meals and desserts all represented.
Morning choices range from a full breakfast of eggs, bacon, sausage, mushrooms, tomato, hash brown and toast to a gentler start of house-toasted muesli, fruit compote and yoghurt. Eggs Benedict can be paired with spinach, bacon or smoked salmon, while pancakes arrive with banana, bacon and maple syrup or a berry compote. Savoury mince, a filled omelette and a vegetarian breakfast with halloumi and avocado prevent the first meal of the day from relying on one repeated format.
At lunch, the build-your-own salad bar is a signature feature, whether it accompanies an Angus steak meal or is taken by itself. Open Turkish-bread sandwiches come with lamb, beef or chicken, and the menu then stretches through Moroccan lamb salad, Thai beef salad, seafood chowder, tempura prawn and calamari, fish with chips, and green-lipped mussels in one of several sauces. That spread balances pub familiarity with enough seafood and salad detail to make a lighter midday meal entirely plausible.
Evening brings shareable lamb kofta, scallops with pork belly, mussels and chowder before the larger grill and favourite sections. Pasta, slow-cooked lamb shank, beef short ribs and fish sit alongside steaks, ribs, chicken and lamb from the grill. Children can choose fish bites, chicken tenders, meatballs or a cheeseburger, then join the table for sticky date pudding or chocolate mudcake. Pure's menu is broad, but its progression from cafe breakfast to grill dinner keeps the choices easy to navigate.
