Zest Bakery, Cafe & Stonegrill is a Greerton venue that changes character as the day unfolds. The bakery and cafe support breakfast and lunch, while the restaurant menu and Stonegrill service carry the address into dinner. That breadth makes Zest useful for more than one kind of visit: coffee and a quick breakfast, a substantial daytime meal, or an evening built around cooking meat at the table.

Breakfast leans towards recognisable cafe dishes with a few house signatures. Grazing Time gathers bacon, hash brown, tomato, sausage and eggs into a full plate, while mince on toast adds a poached egg to savoury beef in tomato jus. Pancakes come with berry compote, cream and maple syrup; Benedict, creamy mushrooms, muesli and a potato rosti stack provide routes for both traditional and lighter appetites.

The lunch side stretches well beyond sandwiches. Zest pasta folds chicken, mushrooms and herbs through a white-wine cream, and the seafood chowder is enriched with cream and fresh herbs. A Kiwi burger, steak sandwich and chicken burger cover the heartier end, while falafel Greek salad, chicken Waldorf salad and Asian barbecue pork salad use hummus, fruit, nuts, crisp noodles and bright dressings to give the menu more contrast.

Stonegrill is the defining dinner experience. Beef, chicken, lamb and seafood arrive on a super-heated natural volcanic stone, allowing each diner to control how quickly and how far the food cooks. Mixed grill, chicken kebabs, rump and scotch fillet sit alongside seafood additions and dipping sauces. Plated mains, desserts and catering remain available, but the stone service is what turns a straightforward meal into something interactive.
