Pimarn Thai Kamo is the suburban branch of the long-running Whangārei restaurant group, serving both seated diners and takeaway customers from Kamo Road. Its menu follows the broad structure of a traditional Thai meal rather than concentrating on one speciality: small fried or grilled starters, aromatic soups, wok dishes, curries, noodles, rice and sharp, herb-led salads can all be combined around the table.

Starters offer several textures before the main dishes arrive. Satay chicken brings a nutty sauce, golden bags and spring rolls provide crisp pastry, and dumplings, chicken toast and wings widen the choice for sharing. Seafood appears through fish, prawn and squid preparations. Tom yum then shifts the meal towards sour heat, while coconut-rich tom kha and clear soup give diners gentler ways into the restaurant's aromatic side.

Wok cooking covers cashew, basil and chilli, ginger, garlic and pepper, sweet-and-sour and satay profiles, each adaptable to several proteins. The curry list is just as broad: green, red and yellow curries sit beside massaman, panang, choo chee and gaeng kua. Roast duck in red curry is a richer house option, while vegetable versions allow the spice pastes, coconut and herbs to remain the focus without meat.

Noodles and rice make the menu practical for both solo meals and larger orders. Pad Thai balances tamarind sweetness with peanuts, pad see ew uses dark soy and vegetables, and fried rice can take chilli, basil or curry flavours. Khao soi adds egg noodles to a warmly spiced curry base, while larb and grilled beef, pork or seafood salads bring chilli, herbs and acidity for a brighter finish.
