Kebab Father Menu

Kebab Father is a casual Sydenham restaurant built around generous, portable meals and long service hours. Diners can eat at the Colombo Street venue, book ahead, collect an order or arrange delivery, so the format works just as well for a late meal as it does for a quick lunch. The atmosphere stays informal, but the menu is broad enough to support a complete sit-down dinner rather than only a snack on the run.

The core kebab wraps can be filled with chicken, lamb, beef, fried chicken, falafel or eggplant, then finished with salad and a choice of sauces inside thin bread. Souvlaki offers a related path through warm pita, grilled filling, crisp vegetables and a cooling sauce. These formats keep the ingredients easy to customise while preserving the contrast between hot seasoned filling and fresh salad.

Several plates turn the same flavours into a more substantial meal. Doner-style meat can be served over fragrant rice, fresh salad or chips, and meat on chips leans fully into the comfort-food side of the menu. The namesake Kebab Father special goes further by folding seasoned meat, crisp chips and the restaurant's sauce together in one oversized wrap, while the cheesy kebab adds melted cheese and thicker pita.

Falafel and eggplant allow meat-free diners to follow the same wrap-and-salad structure without being limited to plain sides. Garlic pita, regular chips and mozzarella-topped chips can be added for sharing, and baklava provides a sweet finish after the savoury meal. That compact supporting range keeps attention on the kebabs while still giving a group enough components to build a varied table.
