Something & Social Broadway occupies The Rooftop at Westfield Newmarket, combining an indoor restaurant and bar with outdoor tables above the shopping centre. It runs from late morning into the evening on weekdays and begins earlier for weekend brunch, allowing the same space to host coffee, lunch, cocktails or dinner. The setting is polished but deliberately sociable, with bookings for small tables and support for birthdays, work functions and larger gatherings. City views and the indoor-outdoor flow give the Broadway branch a clear sense of place beyond the mall below.

Sharing plates make an easy opening for the table. Roast-garlic pizza bread comes with labneh, spiced hazelnuts and thyme honey, bringing creamy, nutty and sweet elements together. Porcini arancini adds black-truffle mayonnaise and romesco, while classic meatballs arrive in arrabbiata sauce with Parmesan and bread. Fried chicken with pickles and ranch dressing offers a crisp, tangy contrast, and polenta chips with chilli and truffle mayonnaise work as either a side or a snack with drinks. A social platter gathers several of these ideas into one group order.

Pizza and pasta carry the Italian and Mediterranean influence through the main menu. Toppings move from mozzarella and spicy salami to pulled lamb with feta, mushroom with ricotta, beef cheek with blue-cheese crème fraîche and spicy prawn with basil pesto. Pasta choices include creamy chicken and bacon as well as other vegetable and meat combinations. Diners after a more direct main can choose a burger, Italian-style chicken sandwich or chicken parmigiana with fries. This breadth lets one table mix shareable snacks, pizzas and individual plates without committing to a fixed dining style.

The bar is woven into the experience rather than treated as a separate destination. Spritzes, margaritas, martinis and negronis suit the rooftop setting, and cocktail trees turn drinks into another shared order. Tiramisu and chocolate fondant provide a compact sweet finish after pizza or pasta. Children's choices and daytime brunch make the venue workable for families, while free venue hire and flexible event menus shift the mood toward celebrations later in the day.
