Families have a dedicated children's play area, and a separate pavilion handles larger functions. Open from late morning every day, the venue is equally useful for lunch, a drink with snacks or a full dinner, with enough food on offer to qualify as far more than a drinks-led bar.
Snacks are built for a table that wants to graze while the drinks arrive. Popcorn chicken, salt-and-pepper calamari, brisket croquettes and mushroom arancini sit alongside jalapeño poppers, loaded wedges and cheesy garlic bread. A large pub platter gathers spring rolls, samosas, prawn twisters, macaroni-and-cheese bites, onion rings and fries into one centrepiece. Lighter plates offer a different route through fish tacos, seafood chowder, Caesar salad and Thai beef salad, allowing a group to mix crisp fried bites with fresher, more composed dishes.
