Street Food International is a family-run Washington Valley restaurant built around world flavours and relaxed hospitality. Its renovated dining room gives the former Street Food on Washington address a spacious modern setting, with a fully licensed bar and an outdoor deck for warmer days. Live music on Sundays adds another reason to linger, but the venue also works for a straightforward meal or a quick collection from the neighbourhood.
The menu deliberately crosses borders rather than settling into one cuisine. Phad Thai combines rice noodles with chicken, prawns, tofu, vegetables and peanuts, while okonomiyaki brings the savoury texture of a Japanese pancake. Souvlaki is assembled with garlic chicken, falafel, tomato, red onion, tzatziki and fries, so even a short table order can move between Southeast Asian, Japanese and Mediterranean ideas.
Other dishes travel in different directions again. New Orleans-style smoked pork comes with cornbread, slaw and fries, and Polish pierogi pair potato dumplings with caramelised onion, bacon, sour cream and sauerkraut. Loaded fries offer a richer, more casual choice, while churros and the separate breakfast and beverage sections stretch the restaurant's appeal across the day. The variety feels intentional: familiar formats are used as entry points into flavours from several regions.
